Goorin Bros.: The Goorin family has been outfitting heads since 1895, when Cassel Goorin sold his first hat off a horse cart in Pennsylvania. The company was then taken over by his sons, who moved it out West. Today, Goorin Bros. is led by Cassel’s great grandson, who crafts hats inspired by San Francisco’s rich artistic community. Wear some history on your head, with Goorin Bros. timeless hats, available today at The Clymb for member-exclusive pricing.

Capo: Capo is a premier brand of innovative cycling apparel and accessories. Its products deliver technical performance, progressive design, and proven quality. It’s not difficult to understand why: Passion for the sport fuels the company. Which is why they only hire active cyclists. Click through now to shop the gear that backs it all up at member-exclusive pricing.

Polarmax: There’s a noticeable bottom line with Polarmax baselayers and it isn’t something that will keep wearers sitting down: keep the product warm and the manufacturing and shipping process green. Many of the company’s performance garments are made from recycled yarns and fibers; it uses soy ink to print product information on recycled paper; and it uses recyclable packaging for shipping. That’s a bottom line you can feel good about showing off. Today, we’ve got moisture-wicking, anti-microbial Polarmax baselayers on sale at member-exclusive pricing.

SOLE: SOLE creates happy feet. Knowing that there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all, SOLE Footbeds and Sandals custom-mold to fit your unique footprint. Fanatical attention to detail throughout the design process ensures superior fit and unrivaled orthopedic support and comfort. Shop our collection here at member-exclusive prices.

IN OTHER NEWS:

The Route Herder: Did you know? On September 7(that’s today!), 1869, John Muir; naturalist, author, and advocate of preservation of wilderness in the United States, made the first ascent of Cathedral Peak, an outstanding granite pinnacle in the Tuolumne Meadows area of Yosemite National Park. While working as a sheepherder for the summer, Muir wandered to the base of the cliff and climbed to the summit, alone, without the use of a rope. Most climbers to this day prefer to rope up for the final, airy bit of technical climbing on this route. Muir’s ascent is arguably the first 4th-class climb to be accomplished anywhere in the Sierra range.
